James Albert Burlet

It is always difficult to say goodbye to someone we long and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to our beloved.
James Albert Burlet, of Marrero, LA, born in Algers, LA passed away unexpectedly on September 12, 2022 at the young age of 65. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Gros Burlet Dufrene, father Jerome Francis Burlet II, brother Jerome (Jay) Burlet III. Jimmy worked for Eagles Plumbing (TNT) and had recently retired from Zataran's after 10 years. His passions include riding his Harley, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Bonnie (Pine) Burlet, brother-in-law Michael Pine and wife Denise, Sister Judy Rourk and Gene, sister Joan Burlet, brother Jody Dufrene & Tammy, sister Jackie Dufrene & Eddie. As well as many nieces and nephews, who loved him very much.

A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at his home in Marrero.
