Jackie M. Parchman

Jackie M. Parchman, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Parchman; and his brother, James “Sonny” Parchman. He is the beloved husband of Kathy Parchman. He is the loving father of Darrin Parchman and Courtney Parchman Rocha (Jason). He is the cherished son of Maisel Farace. He is the loving brother of Lester Parchman (Penny), and Larry Parchman (Donese). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law; other family and many friends. Jackie was a devoted employee of Pelican Engineering and really loved his work. A sports enthusiast, Jackie enjoyed coaching girls’ softball. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to the American Cancer Society.
