Helen Louise Kaiser Duhe’ passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Huey Paul Duhe’; Loving mother of Hope D. Alello (Randy), Heidi D. Thibodaux (Tommy), Ellen D. Bergeron (Mark), Patti D. Skinner (the late Chris Dufrene, Jr.), and Ginger D. Bravata (Joe); beloved grandmother of Robyn Alello Bergeron (Justin), Mandy Alello Strain (Sim), Terese Thibodaux Campbell (Ryan), Claire Thibodaux St. Amant (Derek), Mindy Bergeron Hungerford (Daniel), Kelly Bergeron Tramontana (Taylor), Jaime Skinner Missimer (Ben), Elizabeth Skinner Gore (Jared), Rachel Skinner (Zachary Balakoff), Paris Dufrene (Julian Monroe), Katelyn Bravata, and Grace Bravata (Katelyn Tanzini); and Great-grandmother of Lily Bergeron, Wesley Bergeron, Sim Strain V, Brady Faye Strain, Paul Strain, Nea Campbell, Adelais Campbell, Cathryn Campbell, Kincade Hungerford, Jackson Hungerford, Magnolia Hungerford, Evangeline Tramontana, Mia Missimer, Eloise Gore, Elora Balakoff, Easton Bravata, and Harrison Bravata. Sister of June Kaiser Robert and Arthur Kaiser. Sister-in-law of Sybil Kaiser, Dorothy Guidroz, Gail Barbier (William), Elaine Duhe’, and Jackie Duhe’; Godmother of Brian Crabtree and Aunt to beaucoup nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur Kaiser, Sr., Myrtle St. Pierre Kaiser, her sisters and brother Catherine Rosemary Kaiser Crabtree, Shirley Kaiser Sanders, Korleen Kaiser Dandry, and Clifton Kaiser, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Huey Crabtree, Sr., Huey Robert, Donald Sanders, Sr., Joseph Dandry, Hilda Duhe’ Molaison, Francis Molaison, Eva Molaison, Charles Duhe’, Sr., Berniece Duhe’, Joseph Duhe’, Calvin Guidroz, Virginia Betty Duhe’ Bourne, Wilfred Bourne, Louis Duhe’, Sr., Betty Arabi Duhe’, and Richard Duhe’. Helen was a life-long resident of Westwego, LA, an active and devoted member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church, and a member of the Westwego Historical Society. She was also Treasurer of the West Bank Genealogy Society for many years. She worked for Jefferson Parish Public Schools (Worley Middle School) for twenty years before retiring to enjoy her hobbies and spending quality time with her daughters, granddaughters, great-grandchildren, and the love of her life, Huey. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 146 Fourth Street and Avenue A, Westwego, Louisiana on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 10AM until 12 Noon. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Friday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum (Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery), Westwego, Louisiana.
