Harry Lamonte Waldrop passed away on March 18, 2020. Beloved husband of Dianne Crawford Waldrop for 54 years. Father of Sally Easley and Kelly Robertson (Henry). Grandfather of Joshua Easley, Hannah Easley, Sarah Easley, Liam Robertson, Mila Roberston, and Noah Robertson. Son of the late Christo Waldrop and Eunice Bridges Waldrop. Brother of Elizabeth Ducote and the late Mary Maxine Travis Martin (O.G.) and Shirley Travis Day (Edgar). Uncle of David Ducote (Josephine) and their daughter Frankie. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Age 75 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Terrytown, LA. Harry was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict aboard the USS Ticonderoga and also a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. He graduated from Delgado Community College and was an FAA Inspector and Aircraft Mechanic. He worked for Taca Airlines, Taylor Energy, and retired from United States Customs as an Air Support Mechanic. He then worked part time for Crucial Incorporated where he had many friends. He received numerous awards and commendations for his work improving and innovating within the aircraft mechanics industry.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, March 23, 2020 from 10 AM until 11:30 AM.
