Harold Anthony Roy passed away on September 10, 2020 at the age of 84. A native of Bunkie, LA and resident of Pontchatoula, LA. He was born on January 20, 1936 to the late Eustice Roy and Oraline Normand Roy. Husband of the late Mary Hazel Landry Roy. Father of Charles Roy, Michael Roy (Donna), Monica Heckler (Brad), Maxine Campbell (James). Step-father of Dianna LeBlanc, Michael Landry (Cynthia), Sybil Lasseigne (Don), Cheryl Breaux (Marvin), and David Landry (Jennifer). Brother of Richard Roy (Mary) and the late James Roy. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He worked as a courier for Pony Express for many years and retired in 1989. Harold had a great passion for helping get produce from farmers to super markets specifically sweet potatoes. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass at 11AM on Friday, September 18, 2020 at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., in Marrero. Interment will follow immediately at Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale, LA. Visitation will begin on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 9AM until service time.
