Grace O’Connor Hogan departed this life on February 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Beloved daughter of the late Margaret O’Connor Hogan and Joseph Hogan. Sister of the late Joseph Hogan Jr. Grace was born in New Orleans LA on December 9, 1927. She was a resident of Lake View before moving to Harvey in 2005 following Hurricane Katrina. She was a graduate of Loyola University. She was an employee of Hotel Dieu Hospital for over 40 years where she worked in the laboratory. Grace was a dedicated volunteer at the World War II Museum and a supporter of Boy Scouts of America. She was an avid golfer and a travel enthusiast who enjoyed may happy cruises with her companion the late Clayton Wolfe. She will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of Juanita & Danny Bertacci, Clayton Wolfe Jr and Wendy Gagliano. We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to her caregivers at Peristyle Residences for the love and excellent care they provided to Grace.
A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM. In memory of Grace Donations may be made to St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Harvey LA, the World War II Museum or the charity of your choice.
