Grace Chisholm

Grace Chisholm passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2020 at the age of 96. Daughter of the late James and Hattie Neuby, she was a native of Kankakee, Illinois and a longtime resident of Gretna, Louisiana.
She was the beloved wife of the late John Chisholm. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jay Chisholm and two young daughters, Nancy Lynn and Nancy Carol.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Susan Danos and her daughter-in-law, Vanessa Hales. A devoted grandmother to Amber (Magd Alazzam), Brittany, and Lacy. Loving great-grandmother to John and his brother to come, Rashid, Giovanni, Gabriella, and Gia, Talen and Trevin. Grace also leaves behind her nephew, Gary Neuby.
Grace was devoted to her Baptist faith and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Algiers for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey, Louisiana on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. Due to COVID-19 the wearing of face masks and social distancing is required. Family and friends can view and sign the guestbook at mothefunerals.
