Glenn Powell peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved and loving husband of Janie Powell for 51 years. Loving canine companion of his Border Collie, Bud. Son of the late Robert Lee Powell and Beatrice Thomas Powell. Loving father of Kim Powell Pertuit (Michael), Kari Powell Mitten and Kelly Powell Burgard (Jason). Grandfather of Alicia Mitten, Nolan Pertuit, Riley Mitten, Lily Pertuit and Jack Burgard. Brother of Shirley Powell Cole (Bobby). Uncle of Paula Cole Smith and Jenny Cole Speer. Great Uncle of Dalton, Lane, Lauren and Landry. Glenn was born in McKinney, Texas and a resident of the New Orleans area for 51 years. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to any LASPCA in memory of Glenn. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 2PM until 3PM.
