Gladys Romano Leger

Gladys Romano Leger, longtime resident of Gretna, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Marlin A. Leger Sr. and her parents, Angel Pennison Romano and Saverio Romano Jr. and her siblings. She is the loving mother of Cindy Leger Chauff (Jimmy), Marlin A. Leger Jr. (Gwen), Wayne Leger Sr. (Aida), Debbie Leger, Donna Leger Lindsey (Dale) and Linda Leger. She is the devoted grandmother of Addie Leger, James Chauff III, Bryanna Leger, Michael Chauff Sr. (Katie), Wayne Leger Jr, Brandon Leger and E. Dale Lindsey III. She is the loving great grandmother of Michael Chauff Jr., Myles Chauff, Max Chauff and Mason Chauff. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other family and friends. Gladys will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful care givers at Notre Dame Hospice, especially Chrishanna Agee. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, November 27, 2017 beginning at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
