Gladys Marie Thomas Billy

Gladys Marie Thomas Billy, was born May 17th, 1945. She departed this world and entered his eternal heavenly home on Thursday June 16th, 2022. A lifetime resident of New Orleans, she was the daughter of the late Esibia Jeter Thomas Mitchell and Eugene F. Thomas Sr. and step daughter to the late Gloria Thomas. She was the devoted wife of the late James Billy Jr, a loving mother to the late Christopher Billy and sister to the late Eugene Thomas Jr. She is survived by her daughter Cinnamon Billy Smith,(Fred), her grandchildren Houston James Smith and Brittany McDonald and great grandchildren Tationa Greiger and Karliessii Billy. She is also survived by her siblings Carey J. Thomas(Vanessa), Larry Beau Thompson(Jenny) and Lana Harrington. Her nieces Connie T. Enclade, Essence K. Thomas and nephew Micheal E. Thomas, her beloved cousins Marilyn Dominic, Joseph Pitts and beloved friend Artillia Harrington and a host of beloved great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated On Wednesday June 29, 2022 in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy in Harvey, La. at 11am. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery South, Gretna, Louisiana, with no repass to follow.
