Gladys C. Aucoin passed at her residence with Denise at her side on August 17, 2018 at the age of 91. She was born in Lockport, LA. Her passion was her family and her love of our Savior. She retired from JC Penney after 13 years of service. Gladys is survived by her three children, Denise Aucoin of Harvey, Louisiana, Dennis Aucoin (Leesa) of Biloxi, Mississippi, and Dean Aucoin, Sr. (Lisa) of Crown Point, Louisiana; grandchildren, Christopher Aucoin (Gina), Dean Aucoin II, (Ashley), Austin Aucoin (Ansley); great grandchildren, Reagan and Jason Blanchard, Mackenzie, Reid, Caleb Ali and Thomas Aucoin; brother, Irvin Curole (Dora); sister-in-law, Earline Curole and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Paul Aucoin, parents, Luke and Sidona Curole and brother T-Luke Curole. Family and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 9am. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 6pm until 9pm and again on Thursday morning from 8am until 9am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family is thankful to Americare Hospice, Ms Beverly and Ms Elnora. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Children's Hospital, have masses said or just honor her memory by praying the Rosary.
