Gayle Lourdes Wusthoff Zurek

Gayle Lourdes Wusthoff Zurek passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Laurence Zurek for 40 years. Mother of Ed Moise (Hillery), Jackie Palumbo (Vincent), B.Clay Moise (Michelle), Jules Moise (Clarice), Laurence Zurek Jr. (Lea) and William Zurek (Melissa). Daughter of the late Louise and Charles Wusthoff. Sister of late Charles Wusthoff Jr., Gloria Wusthoff, Joyce Montalbano and Edwin Wusthoff. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. She loved to travel, cook, crochet and put together jigsaw puzzles. She will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St. Algiers, LA on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11am. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 10am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
