Gaye Carolyn Morel Lehr

Gaye Carolyn Morel Lehr passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Gary Lehr. Mother of Jennifer Stansbury Sprouse (David) and Tiffany Stansbury Broussard (Keith). Daughter of the late Dorothy Robert Morel and Thomas Joseph Morel Sr. Sister of Thomas Joseph Morel Jr. (Frances), Marilyn Morel Rodriguez (Davis), David Morel (Anne) and Michael Morel (Linda). Grandmother of Harrison Case Broussard and Hudson Luke Broussard. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. She was a retired floral designer, a member of the Terrytown Garden Club and various other Flower Societies. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and was a lifelong active member of the Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist. She enjoyed gardening, karaoke and dancing and was known for her beautiful smile and bubbly personality. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 10am until 12pm at the Gretna Cultural Center of the Arts, 740 Fourth Street, Gretna, LA 70053.
