Gary Dale Thompson

Gary Dale Thompson, Born April 29, 1949 in Tacoma Washington and passed away on May 21, 2020 at home in Westwego, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie B. and Gladys Hovey Thompson and brother Larry R. Thompson. Gary served as a State Social Worker for over 30 years and retired to work at the Family Pharmacy in Monroe Louisiana and other business ventures. He was a loving and caring father for over 31 years and is survived by son Joseph Kalib Thompson, niece Kelly Elise Thompson, a large extended family, and many friends. Gary will be missed by many. Rest in peace. Due to the recent health concerns and the restriction in accordance with limited gatherings, current guidelines will only all for up to 50 family members and friends to be in attendance at the visitation and service. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 11AM until 1PM.
