Gail Gwendolyn Guidry Lassere

Mrs. Gail Gwendolyn Guidry Lassere, of Terrytown, Beloved wife of Melvin J. Lassere, passed away in her sleep on the morning of September 14, 2022. Daughter of Edwin Guidry and Henrietta Guidry Loyacano, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 65 years, Melvin, her son Daniel G. Lassere (Sherry) of Prairieville, La, her daughter Lisa M. Lassere - Frugia of Mandeville, La, her grandson A.J. Lassere of St. Louis, Missouri, her sisters, Joan Caston of Fairhope, Alabama, and Rickey Garner of Willis, Texas, as well as many more nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Born in New Orleans, La, on November 21, 1935, Gail attended L.E. Rabouin High School in New Orleans, La, worked at Godcheauxs and Maison Blanche in New Orleans, and Rosies Fashion in Gretna, La.
At the family’s request, a private graveside burial was held at Westlawn Cemetery in Gretna, La.
