Gail Boudreaux Brooks passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Leslie P. Brooks, Jr. Mother of Leslie P. Brooks, III (Dookie-Lyn), Stanley J. Brooks (Kim) and the late Melanie A. Brooks. Daughter of the late Albertine Savoie Boudreaux and Charles J. Boudreaux. Sister of Vera Butler, Delores Breaux, Geraldine Aucoin, and the late Beatrice Melanson, Alberta Griffin, Yvonne Dumas, and Charles Boudreaux. Grandmother of Shelby Brook and Samantha B. Carter (Justin). Great-grandmother of Ethan Carter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gail was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Homes, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA 70058 on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 11:00 am. Parlors will be open from 9:00 am until funeral time. Burial will take place at Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA. During phase 2 of Covid -19 for Jefferson Parish, visitation will allow up to 75 attendees. All attendees are encouraged to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
