Freddy J. "Butch" Arcement, Jr.

Freddy J. “Butch” Arcement Jr. passed away peacefully on June 5, 2022 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Jo Ann Cortez Arcement. Father of Shari Arcement, Wendy Benoit, and Mandy Briscoe (Robby). Grandfather of Macey, Bailey, Frankie, Cassie, Allie, Anna, and Rob. Great-grandfather of Lacelyn, Greysen, Ella, and expectant great-grandsons, Baylor and Hudson. Brother of Janet Dufrene, the late Enola “Keenie” Sonnier, and Leverda Valence. Son of the late Freddy Arcement and Alzena Aguilar Arcement. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Butch owned F.J. Arcement Construction, Inc. for over 40 years. He was member of Marrero Lodge No. 479 F & AM, Shriners, New Orleans Consistory and Scottish Rite. He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 10am to 1pm. Masonic Services will be held for 1pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:30pm. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego.
