Frank DeJesus Palacio Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Frank De Jesus Palacio entered Eternal rest at the age of 57 on July 10, 2022. He was born on July 7, 1965 to the late Frank De Jesus Palacio and Luz Mila Palacio Parra in Itagüí, Colombia. He graduated from West Jefferson High School where he was active in soccer and wrestling programs. During his youth, he was involved in the thriving soccer scene around the New Orleans area playing for several local amateur soccer clubs in both the East and West Bank areas. He founded the Center of Legal Reliance to help individuals primarily with immigration assistance needs. In his later years, he also participated in the New Orleans film industry as a movie extra. He was preceded in death by his Father. Mr. Palacio is survived by his daughter Natalie Gladys Palacio, his mother Luz Mila Palacio, his brother Guillermo Palacio, his sisters; Patricia Araujo and Luz Amparo Palacio. He leaves behind several Aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews who adored him and cherish the beautiful memories he was able to cultivate with each of them. The family would like to give special thanks to Fr. José La Bastilla, Pastor Luis Soto, Deacon Oscar Alegria and Patricia Rios Cortez for their invaluable help in coordinating and making the celebration of Frank’s life a memorable event. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey LA 70058, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Faith Walk Musoleum, Westlawn Memorial Park. 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna LA 70056.
