Francis Charles Arcement

Francis “Frank” Arcement, age 89, passed away on June 14, 2021. Loving husband of 67 years to Elsie Ledet Arcement. Father of Donald Arcement (Idus), Catherine Clements (Edward Sr.), and Angela Macon (David). Grandfather of Edward Clements, Jr., Corey Clements, Idus Parrett, Etienne “Nick” Arcement, and Jeffrey Barrilleaux. Great grandfather of Chris Pereira, Brianna Clements, Lainey Clements, Mason Parrett, Brayleigh Barrilleaux, Brenna Barrilleaux, Tanner Clements, and Foster Clements. Frank was born on January 13, 1932 in Labadieville, LA to the late Etienne Arcement and the late Esma Martinez Arcement. He is also preceeded in death by his siblings Russell Arcement, Chester Arcement, Raymond Arcement, and Alice Naquin. He is also survived several nieces and nephews and cousins. Frank was a resident of Waggaman, LA for 60 years. He retired from LP&L/Entergy after 34 years of service as a mechanic at the Nine Mile Point office. Frank was an active Parishioner and Usher of Our Lady of the Angels Church in Waggaman, LA. He loved his family, and was an avid gardener and woodworker. In lieu of flowers please make requests for masses for his intention. Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, 6851 River Rd., in Waggaman, LA on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11AM.
