Frances Louise Gentry Messenger

Frances Louise Gentry Messenger, born April 1, 1936, a resident of Colonial Oaks Nursing home in Metairie, LA passed away peacefully on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the age of 85. Wife of the late Harold W. Messenger, Sr. Daughter of the late Frank Gentry and Curtis Cornell Gentry. Beloved mother of David E. Messenger, Janice M. Messenger, Harold W. Messenger, Jr. and the late Mary Frances Messenger and Suzanna C. Messenger. Sister of Ruby Mae Jones, Johnny R. Kirksey, Jr., David W. Kirksey and the late Claudie G. Warbington, Helton R. Gentry, Jerry C. Gentry and Mary Elizabeth Kirksey. Frances is also survived by many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews. She was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi and was a resident of the Westbank. She was a member of Westpoint Church in Terrytown, Louisiana and Gretna Wellness Center.
