With heavy hearts, we announce the death of our Mother, FLORENCE SEGOVIA AREVALO of Gretna, Louisiana on December 5, 2021. Family and Friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with family. Visitation will be held on December 13, 2021 beginning at 9:00am until 11:00am at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey, Louisiana. The Funeral Mass will follow at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Rd., Terrytown, Louisiana at 11:30am. Our Mother was predeased by her husband Ruben Arevalo, Sr., her sons Albert Arevalo, Gilbert Arevalo, Joseph S. Arevalo, and Grandson, Joseph Aaron Arevalo. She is survived by her children Ruben Arevalo, Jr. and wife Carol; Mary Ann McKinney and husband William; her Grandchildren: Robert Aranda, Jr. and wife Elizabeth, Anthony Arevalo and wife Jennifer; Nicholas Arevalo and wife Erika; Gilbert Arevalo, Jr., Amanda Arevalo Martin and husband Blake. Her Sisters: Pauline Segovia Avendano, Maria Segovia Deldonno, and Lupita Segovia Rodriquez and brother, Robert Segovia and wife Josie. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear Friends. Florence, being a native of Sinton, Texas, and a resident of 50+ years in Gretna, Louisiana, her legacy will live on with all the families and friends she has touched in her 90 years of Life.
