Evelyn Gautreaux Barraza

Evelyn Gautreaux Barraza, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ramon Barraza; her granddaughter, Ashly Lee; her parents, Willie and Lillian Gauthreaux; her brothers, Rodney Gauthreaux and Joseph Gauthreaux. She is the cherished mother of Kelly Gautreaux Lee, Rodney Barraza, and Monica Barraza Pilkington (Jonathan). She is the grandmother of Amber Lee (Kyle Pilkington), Andrew Lee, Laila Barraza, Jonathan Pilkington Jr., and Aubrey Pilkington. She is the loving sister of Dot Calecas (Johnny), Patsy Mouton (Kenneth), Willie Gauthreaux (Mona), Roy Gautreaux, and Louella Mata (Manuel). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, August 16, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
