Eric Hennry Fontenot

Eric Henry Fontenot, age 47, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was the loving son of Barbara Bomer Fontenot and Henry A. Fontenot. Proud father of Eric (Dwyneka) and Erionne Walker. Grandfather of Eric Gage Walker, Keri Ann Walker, and Kanyla D. Johnson. Also survived by aunts, uncles, relatives, and many friends. Eric accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and was baptized at Greater St. Stephen, later he united with First Evangelist MBC. He attended public school in New Orleans, graduating from B. T. Washington, where he attained his the love for football. Eric excelled at this sport as a student at Grambling State University (#90) as a decorated football player. He was a big sports enthusiast and a faithful Cowboys and L.A. Lakers fan. He was loved by most, and respected by all. He was a legend in his own right.
