Emma Arabie Gonzales

Emma Arabie Gonzales passed away peacefully on October 17, 2021 at the age of 99. She was born on April 29, 1922 in Matthews, LA and resided in Gretna, LA. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd C. Gonzales. Mother of Marlene G. North (the late Abdon “Abby”). Grandmother of Colleen N. Kemp (the late Matthew) and Sean North Sr. Great-grandmother of Gabriel and Bridget Kemp, Cadence and Sean North Jr. Sister of the late Maggie, Pearl, Hazel, Elma, May, Weldon, Edmond, Ferniad, Clarence, Morris, Ivan and Alceste. Daughter of the late Alces and Eudolia Molaison Arabie. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Bayside Living Center and hospice for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 9am to 11am. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
