Elmo Emanuel Pecot, Jr. passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2018. Beloved husband of Judy Fairchild Pecot for 56 years. Father of Bonnie Pecot, Elmo Pecot, III (Kim), and Damon Pecot (Aimee). Grandfather of Calli Boullosa Hern (Michael), Sage Spicuzza, Royce, Carter, and Cruze Pecot and step-grandfather of Phillip Taylor, Jr. and Michelle Goldman. Great-grandfather of Leo Hern and step-great-grandfather of Brent Taylor and Noa Hern. Son of the late Elmo Pecot, Sr. and Dorothy Cothaver Pecot. Brother of Penny Pecot DesRoches (late Kenny) and Richard Pecot (Brenda). Age 76 years, a native of New Orleans, and resident of Marrero, LA. Elmo was the founder and owner of Commodore Transportation. Member of Golden Ages and Golden Opportunity. He was an avid antique car collector and club member. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Cruising the Coast with the car club, football, going to the movies, and above all spending time with his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, 400 Verret St., Algiers, LA on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 1 PM.
