Earl J. Thompson

Earl J. Thompson passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of the late Gladys T. Thompson for 71 years. Father of David Thompson (Susan) and Nancy St. Romain. Son of the late Bella Boudreaux Thompson and Archiebald Thompson. Brother of the late Xavier Roberts and Pearl Worsham. Grandfather of Carl Delaney and Paige St. Romain. Great grandfather of Isabella Delaney and Grayson Burns. Also survived by nieces, nephews and his canine companion, Bailey. He was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran, past Commander of VFW Post 6793 and a member of American Legion Post 206. He liked fishing, cooking and football. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA for the past 24 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of VFW Post 6793 and American Legion Post 206, are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 11am.
