Earl Joseph Ortego, Jr. entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2022 at the age of 66. Beloved son of the late Earl Ortego, Sr. and Bertha Mayon Ortego. Brother of Earline Noble (David), Greg Ortego (Brandy), and the late Gayle Dean and Kathy Silvestri. Uncle of Michelle (late), Hank, Chantel, Jeremy, David Jr., Raven, Kelly, Tara, Krista, Taylor. Great Uncle of Blake, Blaine (late), Britney, Brandon, Johnathan (late), Chevis, Damion, Hayden, Zayne, Madden, Mila, Camille and Grayson. Having no children of his own, Earl took great pride in the lives of his nieces and nephews. His dog Bella was his most faithful companion. Earl was fun loving and enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling in his active years. An avid fan of sports he especially rooted for the New Orleans Saints and LSU football and baseball. He will be deeply missed by the family and many friends he leaves behind. MOTHE FUNERL HOME is assisting the family during this difficult time. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
