Earl Guidroz, Jr.

Earl Guidroz, Jr. passed away peacefully on November 6, 2018 at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband of 44 years to Mary Shuck Guidroz. Loving father of Dustin M. Guidroz and his wife, Amy Bourgeois Guidroz. Grandfather of Sarah Elisabeth and Noah Michael. Brother of Glenn David Guidroz Sr. (Loretta), Dawn Rivere (Risley) and the late Paulette Guidroz. Son of the late Earl and Yvonne Stein Guidroz Sr. Also survived by Leslie Brown along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Earl worked for many years with Saia Motor Freight where he was known as “Pocket Rocket”. He was “Broke Ass” to his friends in the Fire and Iron Motorcycle Club and was also a proud Life Member of the Terrytown Vol. Fire Department. He loved spending time with his loving family and friends. While his passing is sorrowful, his life and legacy will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 11am. Interment will follow at Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondale. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5pm to 10pm, resuming on Saturday from 8am to 11am, followed by service.
