Earl "Fireball" Joseph Molaison

October 12, 1924 — May 28, 2018

Earl Joseph Molaison (FIREBALL) passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Elvina Caulfield Molaison. Step-father of Anthony (Tony) Warino (Jeannie), Peter (Pete) Warino (Toni), and Frances (Fran) Warino Price (Jerry). Son of the late Anita Trosclair Molaison Giroir and David Molaison. Step-son of the late Joseph Giroir. Brother of Hilda Giroir Orgeron and the late Joseph (J.C.) Charles Molaison. Step-grandfather of Kurt Warino (Rita), Tasha Warino Hebert (Gary), Peter Warino, Jr., Shane Warino, Thane Warino, John (Jay) Mauffray (Rachael), and Aaron Mauffray (Gina). Step-great-grandfather of Michael Hucke, Tyler Warino, Brandon Warino, Caroline Hebert, Luke Hebert, Marissa Mauffray, A.J. Mauffray, and Isabella (Bella) Mauffray. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Earl served in World War II from 1941 to 1945 in the United States Navy. He retired from Continental Can in 1976 and retired from Reagan Equipment with over 20 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #222 for 73 years, Son of the American Legion Post #222 for 10 years, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) Post #7307.
The family would like to give thanks to Kirk Hebert and Joe Pimilia (Toni) for their devoted friendship. And, a special thanks to the staff of West Jefferson Medical Center, Serenity Hospice Services, and Passages Hospice and Sanctuary for the special care, compassion and support to both Earl and our family.
Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Continental Can and Reagan Equipment are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Homes, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA 70058 on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 12:30 pm. Parlors will be open from 9:00 am until funeral time. Interment St. Pius X Catholic Cemetery, Crown Point, LA.
