Dorothy "Dot" Lee Buller

Dorothy “Dot” Lee Buller, age 83, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Wife of the late James “Heavy” F. Buller, Sr. who she married on February 23, 1957. Mother of Bridget Buller and James “Jimmy” F. Buller, Jr. (Shoni). Grandmother of Jamison Mistich, Mackenzie, Leah, Aubry, and Nathalie Buller, the late Kaitlyn Brady, and the late Alex Mistich. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren. Dot was born on September 4, 1937 in the country outside of Ville Platte, LA to the late Elaine Doucet Lee and the late Leo Lee. Sister of Paul Lee, Joseph Lee, Juanita Jane Israel, and the late Theogene Lee. She was blessed with an abundance of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She moved to New Orleans in 1960. Words cannot express the warm embracing feeling that she accepted everyone with. Dot was truly an example of how God wants us to treat one another. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian burial on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 1PM at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, in Harvey. Visitation will begin at 11AM. Interment will follow immediately at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna. All visitors are expected to wear their own masks and keep a social distance while following all current COVID19 mandates.
