Doris Elliott Rojas

Doris Elliott Rojas, age 79 entered into eternal life on Friday, October 26, 2018. She was a native of Lafitte and a lifelong resident of Venice. She resided in Gretna for the past 6 years. She was the devoted wife of the late Dennis Rojas, Sr. Loving mother of her children, Laurie Rojas (Bob) and Dennis Rojas, Jr. (Norean). Doris is survived by her grandson, Norman Smith, Jr. (Lotara) and 3 great grandchildren, Rashad, Blake and Sean. She is also survived by her sister, Iris Rojas (the late Curtis Rojas), her sister-in-law, JoAnn Rojas (the late Raymond Rojas, Sr.), her very dear friend, Sue Simoneaux as well as several nieces and nephews. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, the late William and “Miss Teddy Bear” Elliott and her brother, the late William “Billy” Elliott, Jr. (Survived by Joyce). Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9AM until 1PM.
