Dora Louise Roddy Desalvo

Dora Louise Roddy DeSalvo fell asleep in death on Friday, June 18, 2021. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Frank Gerald DeSalvo and is survived by her only child, Karen DeSalvo Riley.
Dora was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 3, 1941 to Haise and Laura Roddy. Pre-deceased in death by her only sibling, Audrey Marcotte and survived by two nephews, Donald and Sammy Steele.
Dora grew up enjoying so many activities and was a majorette in high school. She was very devout and was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was always ready to learn more about her faith and to share that with the one’s she loved. She will be sadly missed.
A virtual Memorial Celebration will be held on July 3, 2021 beginning at 1pm with discourse beginning at 1:30pm. For instructions on attending the service, contact Michael Kates at (504) 339-1219.
