Dennis Paul Dinsmore

Dennis Paul Dinsmore peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the age of 66. Beloved husband of 33 years to the late Rose DiGregorio Dinsmore. Son of the late Carl Henry Dinsmore and Emelda Dinsmore Hingle. Loving father of Tara Dinsmore (Justin). Canine companion of Sammy as well as a few feline companions and preceded in death by his beloved Sully. Brother of Linda Dinsmore Sexton and the late Ed Dinsmore. Uncle of Stacey West (Jason), Korinna Dinsmore and Chad Dinsmore. Dennis is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Dennis was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and was a talented carpenter and was employed as a General Contractor for Wallace C. Drennan, LLC as well as J. W. Drennan, LLC. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Staff of Riverbend Nursing Home for the love and care given to Dennis. Family and friends, also employees of Wallace C. Drennan, LLC, J. W. Drennan, LLC and Doctors and Staff of Riverbend Nursing Home are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette Street, New Orleans, LA on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 10AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
