Dennis Joseph Daigle Jr. was born on December 31, 1938 and passed away with his wife at his side on March 27, 2022 at 2:50 AM at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Nursing Home. He is survived by his wife, Harriet (Sam) Eubanks Daigle. His brothers, Ronnie Daigle (Cindy (deceased)), Clifton Daigle(Jane) and Buddy Daigle (Lynette (deceased)); His sisters JeannieTheriot (Everitt (deceased)), Lauretta Smith (Larry) and Peggy Trosclair (Dutch); His children, Dennis Daigle, III (Patty), Kim D. Lombas, Michelle D. Trouilliet (Thomas), Eric Daigle (Kathie), Patrick Daigle (Wendy) and his stepson Darrin Michel (Dona). Grandfather of Rachael Daigle, Lacey Lombas, Michael Lombas, Jr., Ashley Brabham (Hunter), Leigh Ann LaFrance, Jordon Daigle (Michelle Yow), Emily D. Ward (Brett), Sarah Daigle, Connor Daigle and Michael Michel (Brandi). Great-grandfather of Owen, Clay, Nevaeh, Naicen, Aniyah, Kashton, Kaisley, Brynnin, Kayden Leland, Jaden and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by His father, Dennis Joseph Daigle Sr,; his mother, Lula Daigle; his sister, Patsy Daigle and his stepson, Detective David Michel Jr.(survived by his wife Angie). He graduated from West Jefferson High School; was in the U.S. Army in Germany and was a member of the Masons for many years. He devoted his working life to Avondale Shipyards. Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 9:30AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
