Debora Nugent "Debbie" Dufrene

Debora Nugent Dufrene “Debbie” passed away on June 26,2018 after a brief illness. She was 55. Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Roger Dufrene; her Daughter Jamie and husband Ryan Romain and her beloved fur baby Riley. She will be sadly missed by her parents, James and Beverly Nugent; her sister Susan Nugent (Larry) and niece and nephew Katelyn and Nicholas Nugent; brothers in law and Ricky, Rudy, Ronnie (Rose) Dufrene and sister in law Vicki Estedes (Bobby). Preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond and Erin Cormier, James and Emelda Nugent, Happy and Norma Warren; in laws, Tony and Marie Dufrene, Randy Dufrene and Debbie Poche’. Debbie will be missed by many, many more. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 923 Josephine St., New Orleans on Saturday July 21, 2018. Visitation at the church is from 9-11, with Mass following at 11. A celebration of life will be held at the Corner Club, 2431 Annunciation St. New Orleans, La 70130 immediately following Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to ARNO (Animal Rescue of New Orleans) or Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter, (West-bank location) are appreciated.
