David Carlin Bourgeois Iii

David Carlin Bourgeois III passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021, at the age of 44. David was born in Marrero at West Jefferson Hospital and he resided in Avondale most of his life.
David was an avid outdoorsman. Fishing, hunting, and camping are just a few of his favorite outdoor activities. He also loved riding dirt bikes in his spare time. When David was not spending his time outdoors, he was spending quality time with his son Trenton. David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is survived by his son, Trenton Bourgeois; his parents, Peggy and Keith Carriere; his grandfather Wallace Blystone and his grandmother Nora Carriere. His brother Bryan Carriere, his niece, Jaymiee Allemand, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family also survive David.
David is preceded in death by his grandparents Gloria Bourgeois and David C. Bourgeois Sr., and Herbert Carriere and Evelyn Blystone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Mass at St. Bonaventure Church in Avondale on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 12pm. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of the Mass. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, everyone is required to wear a mask and social distancing will be implemented. Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
