Darryl Gerard Hoormann entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2022. Beloved husband of Louise Rodrigue Hoormann. Father of Leslie Morton (Tracy), Eric Hoormann, and Stacy Sweeney (Sean). Grandfather of Blaire King, Kylie Creppel, Haylie Creppel, Eric Poland, and Skylar McCrea. Great-grandfather of Joel Poland and Brooklyn Poland. Son of the late Gladys LaBorde Hoormann and John Louis Hoormann, Sr. Brother of John L. Hoormann. Godfather of Patrick Hoormann (Kelly). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age 75 years, a native of Gretna, LA and resident of LaPlace, LA. Darryl graduated from Holy Cross High School and graduated college with an Associate’s Degree in Radiology. He was a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He spent his career as a Radiology Technician with numerous local hospitals until retirement. In his spare time, Darryl enjoyed fishing and spending time with his beloved wife and family.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Memorial Visitation will be held Friday from 9 AM until mass time.
