Dana Beck Daigle

Dana Ann Beck Daigle, age 72, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2021. Dana is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Herman Daigle, Jr. She was the proud mother of Barry Daigle (Maria), Angelle D. Ostarly (Clayton), and Courtney D. Keller (Danny). Grandmother of Joshua Dubuisson, Tyler Daigle, Alyson Kirsch, Christian Quinonez, Danny Keller, Clay Ostarly (Victoria), and Sarah Ostarly (Devin). Great-grandmother of Brooke and Damon Dubuisson, Jason Sansoni and Amelia Cocurullo, Arabella Daigle, Clayton James Ostarly, and Baby Milam. Dana was born on December 7, 1948 in New Orleans, LA to the late Earl A. Beck of New Orleans, the late Marjorie Pedersen Beck of New Orleans, and the late step-mother Ella M. Dumontier Beck. Sister of Karen Beck Ivicevich (Thomas) and Sharen Beck. Step-sister of Thomas Dumontier (Adrienne), Aimee D. Barbre (Bobby) and the late Val Dumontier. Dana is also survived by her special cousin B. Marvin Stalcup, a host of nephews, nieces, in-laws, and extended families. Dana was a proud member of the West Jefferson High School Class of ’68. She was a beloved employee of Meagher’s Tax Center and a former member of the New Orleans Tour Guide Association. A passionate fan of the Chicago Cubs, and a proud member of the WHO DAT NATION. An avid reader who loved to learn and could tell you the history of anything and everything. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Jacob Estes and the staff of Notre Dame Hospice for their loving care and compassion. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Boulevard, in Marrero on Monday, October, 18, 2021 at 11am. Visitation will begin on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 5PM until 8PM. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., in Gretna.
