Cynthia Rose Shano

Cynthia (Cindy) Patterson Shano, of Belle Chasse, LA gained her eternal angel wings surrounded by an army of family and friends on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 66. Beloved wife of the late William (Buffa) Shano. Cynthia was born on August 30, 1955 in New Orleans, LA to the late Lilian Willoz and Daniel Patterson. Mother of Melissa Stafford (Brent), Kimberly Jacobs (William), and Mario (Jap) Frisella (Jeanne). Sister of John Patterson (Cindy), Cheryl (Chebby) Dufrene (Edwin), Ronnie Patterson (Maria), and the late Danny Boy. Grandmother of Brittany, Dominic, Seth, Monica, Evan, Charley, and Rachel. Great grandmother of Leah, Rutland and Chester. Also survived by many nieces nephews and friends. Cynthia enjoyed playing cards, camping, and cooking. Her famous words were “Are you hungry my Baby?” She was a die hard Saints Fan and dearly loved spending time with family and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Mothe Funeral Homes, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey at 11:00 am.
