Connie Cortez Chedville, beloved wife of Wayne L. Chedville, died Thursday January 10, 2019 in Fort Worth surrounded by her family, husband of 36 years Wayne L. Chedville, mother of Kris C. Ham (Frank), Grandmother of Jade C. Neely (Brandon), Bailey Nicole , Peyton Victoria and the late Stephanie Lyn . Great grandmother of Jemma Grace, also grandmother at heart to Seth Blount. Connie was the daughter of Murphy L. Cortez and the late Myrtle Folse Cortez, sister of Victor L. Cortez (Kathy) and the late Murphy L. Cortez Jr. (Candy and Beth). Connie was born in Westwego, lived in Marrero and moved to the Granbury area to be closer to her daughter and granddaughters. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 9AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA.
