Connie Ann Bartling Busby

Connie Ann Bartling Busby (July 27, 1951 – January 21, 2022), age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband Gary Busby, daughter Dana Busby and her wife Michelle Busby, son Brian Busby and his wife Sara Busby with granddaughter Ella Busby and grandson Liam Busby. She is also survived by her sister Suzanne Livaccari and brother-in-law Anthony Livaccari, her nephew Mark Livaccari, her sister-in-law Vicki Wilson and brother-in-law Michael Bound. She is also survived by her three cats Minnie, Coco, and Bella who she loved dearly.
Connie spent most of her life living in Gretna, La where she met and married her husband of 45 years in 1977 who was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard which led to a life of travel to San Diego, Ca, Houston, Tx, Cape Cod Ma, and eventually leading back to the Westbank in 1987 where she lived until 2018 when she moved to Covington, La to be closer to her sister, kids and grandkids.
Connie as a friend put it “She certainly loved life and made you live it too”. Always ready for a good party or family gathering where she loved to do her favorite things, which were dancing and storytelling. She is and will always be missed by all who knew her.
