Cleveland Francis Bruce passed away peacefully at his home in Belle Chasse, LA on March 3, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Kathrin Rose Bruce. Father of Kathrin Bruce (James Branton). Brother of Doris Norman, the late Raymond Bruce, Bertman Bruce, Alton Bruce, Lillian Padillo, and Milton “Pete” Bruce. Grandfather of April Rose Klein, Lacey Branton, and Dale Vines. Great-grandfather of Bailie Davis, Stephen Davis, Roslynn Cook, Blaine Richardson, Logan Richardson, and Bryce Richardson. Also survived by his brother-in-law, Douglas Dupre along with other loving relatives and friends. Cleveland was a member and Past Master of Etoile Polaire Lodge No. 1 F & AM, 33rd degree Mason, Scottish Rite Bodies, New Orleans Consistory, Shriners, and honorably served as Past Tiler of the Louisiana Grand Lodge. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 10am to 1pm. Religious services, Masonic Blue Lodge, and Rose Croix Services will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park, Gretna, LA.
