Christopher "Chris" Allen Leblanc

February 6, 1982 — January 6, 2021

Christopher (Chris) Allen LeBlanc, age 38, left the world a little less bright January 6, 2021, when he passed away at his home in Terrytown, Louisiana. Chris was born on February 6, 1982, in New Orleans and was unapologetically proud to be a Louisiana man - flaunting his Saints and Pelicans apparel daily and proudly displaying his LSU Tiger eye and fleur-de-lis tattoos. Chris was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan and dreamed of one day traveling to Truist Park to see the “LeBlanc Bros” personalized brick that his brother, Jarred, had gifted him. Chris had a bigger, warmer heart than most people, and although he left this world too soon, he left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Chris gave as much love and more to those who truly cared for him. No one close to Chris questioned how much he loved them, because Chris’ love was unique and intense, with unrelenting loyalty and unwavering support. Chris was a wonderfully loving and devoted son to his mother, who he always said was the “best mom in the world,” and an extremely caring and affectionate best friend to his brother. Chris is survived by his mother, Deborah LeBlanc-Frilot; step-father, George Frilot; father, Gary LeBlanc; brother, Jarred LeBlanc; grandmother, Bruna LeBlanc; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who became family, including his closet friend, Kraig Dixon.
A celebration of life and funeral service will be held for Chris on Friday, January 15, 2021, in the chapel at Mothe Funeral Home (2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana). Please join us in saying our final farewells and giving Chris our love and affection, the one and only thing he truly ever wanted from loved ones. The celebration will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Catholic service from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Louisiana Chapter of Heartgift, a charity that Chris was incredibly proud of his mother for dedicating her life to. Please donate in honor and memory of Chris LeBlanc by visiting https://heartgift.org/ways-to-give/donate-online/ and click Louisiana in the “Donation Designated For” box. Although his life was cut short, his memory will live on forever in those who loved him. In the words of Bob Marley, one of Chris’ favorite musicians, “I don’t believe in death, neither in flesh nor in spirit.” Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com .
