Christine "Chris" Marie Pruette Simmons passed away on August 18, 2018. Beloved wife of Barn Simmons, Jr. for 48 years. Mother of Nancy Simmons (Michelle Scott) and Paul Simmons. Daughter of the late James Pruette and Barbara Dewey. God-daughter and niece of Lee Bourgeois. Age 67 years, a native of Gretna, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. She spent her career as a Cosmetics Consultant for over 25 years and in her spare time she enjoyed collecting various memorabilia and visiting the casino.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11 AM.
