Chetta Istre Mcbride

Chetta Istre McBride, a resident of Belle Chasse, La., was born on March 7, 1941 and went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 9, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Beloved mother of James G. Boudreau (Christy) and Camille Chudzinski (Mike), and former step-mother of Brian McBride (Kellyx) and Robert Brent McBride. Chetta was born in Rayne, Louisiana to the late Camille “Black” Istre and the late Nelia Leblanc Istre. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Melvin Istre, Sr. (Ann), Ferdie Istre (Evelyn) and sister, Marjorie Istre, and former spouse and dear friend, Robert “Bob” McBride. She was the most loving Granny to Patrick Chudzinski, Kayla Boudreau, Connor Boudreau, Nikolaus Chudzinski ,Brian Royce (Sara), Eric Royce, Spyder and Cricket McBride, and proud great-grandmother of William and Lucia Royce. Her grandchildren were the absolute apples of her eye and she spoiled and loved them to the moon and back.
