Charles Allen (Burl) Russ was born February 02,1946 to Willie and Alma Russ. Charles accepted Christ at a very early age and attended Bleak House Baptist Church under the leadership of Boudreaux Jackson. He was a member of New Home Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA. Charles was a graduate of Wilkinson County Trade School and continued his education at JoEllen Hospital Technical School were he received his license and was a certified, Licensed Respiratory Therapy Technician. During life’s journey, Charles worked at Charity Hospital, JoEllen Hospital, Touro Infirmary
Hospital and retired from West Jefferson Hospital. Charles married Hattie Thomas Russ on May 08, 1967. They were loved and blessed to raise their daughter Deborah. He was a die hard, dedicated New Orleans Saints fan!!

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 1:30 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until funeral time. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Due to Covid-19, masks are required to attend.
