Charles James Johnson

Mr. Charles James Johnson passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Tuesday August 10, 2021. He was born in Algiers, La to Edward and Lois Johnson on August 29, 1950. Charles passed away two weeks shy of his 71st birthday. Charles Johnson served his country in the United States Air Force after college. He then went to work for the United States Post Office until he retired. Charles enjoyed watching sports and playing fantasy football, and he was an avid Saints fan. Charles was an adoring husband and a loving father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Charles is survived by his wife, Marilyn Bland; his children, Andrew Johnson, Brett Johnson, Alison Johnson, and Jason Johnson; his grandchildren, Alana, Adrian, Landon, Ava, Ella, and Everly. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Herbert Johnson and Lois Donahue Johnson.
