Charles Spence Fury

Charles Spence Fury, Chief Petty Officer Retired, United States Navy Submarine Service, age 77 passed away on Wednesday January 31, 2017 at his home in Marrero. Son of the late Nicholas Fury and the late Sammy Mozell Spence Fury. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ruth Alonzo Fury. He is survived by his loving daughter, Shari M. Fury of Marrero and his loving son Darryl J. Fury and Daughter-in-law Elizabeth A. Fury of Laplace. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Stewart of Biloxi MS and his brother Nick Fury and sister-in-law Lynn Fury of Metairie LA, also survived by brother-in-law Ron Alonzo of Thornton CO. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2pm. Visitation will be held from 12noon until 2pm. Interment will be held at a later date at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
