Cassie Runyon Vining

Cassie Runyon Vining, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 10,2020. She was born November 12,1971 to the late Mike Runyon, Sr. and Toni Macaluso. Cassie was a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Terrytown, LA. She was a 1989 graduate of Higgins High School. Cassie was devoted to her career in Payment Processing, at Entergy, for 30+ years. She is survived by her husband, Rickey Vining, married for 26 years; two children, Matthew Vining (Brittany) and Rachel Vining Thompson (Justin); 3 grandchildren, Jayden, Carson, & Ryleigh Thompson; Brothers, Mike Runyon, Jr. and Jessie Runyon. Cassie lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting and spending time with her loved ones. She will be extremely missed by family, friends, and many others whose lives she touched. A visitation will be held from 9am until 11am on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway in Harvey. A funeral mass will be held at 11am. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna. Family and friends are reminded to please wear their own mask and maintain social distancing.
