Carol Usner Peranio

Carol Usner Peranio passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the age of 85. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Carol was the wife of the late Bernard Joseph Peranio, Sr. Beloved mother of Bernard J. Peranio, Jr. (Robyn), Linda Peranio Teen (Daniel), Donald G. Peranio (Lauren), Lisa C. Peranio and Rhonda Aucoin. Grandmother of Steven, Kristin, David, Bethany, Dominick, Noel and Matthew. Great Grandmother of Tyler, Dylan, Daniel, Evelyn, Eleanor and Jude. Sister of Elizabeth “Betty” Usner, Helen Usner Beaumont and the late Emile Usner, Jr. Carol is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Emile Usner, Sr. and Elizabeth Gernon Usner. She was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Terrytown and Mandeville, LA. Carol was a member of the Women’s Club at Christ the King Catholic Church where she also served as Eucharistic Minister. She received the Order of St. Louis Medallion. She had a sense of humor and loved to laugh, make people laugh and tell jokes. She was a great cook, an avid shopper, avid seamstress and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero, LA on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 10AM until 12 Noon. A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Tuesday at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
